Indie developer brings Dicey Dungeons to smartphones; A beta version is now available for both platforms.
Dicey Dungeons is a turn-based RPG that has been available on PC since 2019, and now you can try the mobile version. Residents of the App Store country can do this through TestFlight, the link is at the bottom of the news. But Android gamers will have to join the Dicey Dungeons test group, you can do this link.
The project offers six characters with unique abilities and playstyles, among them:
- Thief – steals a random item from an enemy;
- Robot – receives dice by playing blackjack;
- Engineer – after each battle, destroys his equipment in order to collect more powerful weapons.
PC players note that Dicey Dungeons is a roguelike inspired by board games. According to the plot, the Cubes are trying to win against Lady Luck, for this they have to go through dungeons and meet bosses. As a result, you need to go through a dungeon, consisting of 6 floors, each of them has enemies, shops, chests, and so on.
