CD Projekt Red has released the Witcher: Monster Hunter augmented reality game for iOS and Android based on the Witcher universe.
The project was developed by Spokko, a subsidiary of CD Projekt, and offers similar gameplay to Pokemon GO, only without collectibles. Instead, players are required to move around the real world and hunt various monsters at specific points using a smartphone and augmented reality functions.
The game also has a storyline and quests. And some of them change depending on the weather and time of day. The project itself is completely free. Monetization is represented by an in-game store with various resources for crafting and consumable goods, such as oils, potions and bombs.
