During the presentation of Pokemon Presents, an announcement of a completely new game called Pokemon Champions took place. The project is developed for Nintendo Switch and mobile devices running iOS and Android, and the release date has not yet been announced. Most likely, the novelty will spread for free, although this has not yet been officially confirmed.
Pokemon Champions will be focused on battles (probably multiplayer) and offer familiar mechanics, such as types of Pokemon, abilities and movement. They promise rich and various strategies for both beginners and experienced trainers.
It is already known that Nintendo Switch will maintain integration with the Pokemon Home service. Thus, players will be able to synchronize some of their Pokemon Go, Pokemon Scarlet/Violet and other games of the series.
