Blizzard launched the 16th season in the multiplayer shooter Overwatch 2, which added a completely new stadium regime. In it, the teams of five people compete in several rounds and on altered maps, and the party that won in four rounds wins the victory. Moreover, the rules of the game are similar to other modes, such as “onslaught”, “escort” and “control”. Between the rounds, it is allowed to pump the perks, making the characters stronger and adjusting it to various situations. In addition, the battles here pass with a third -person view, and not from the first.
The update also added a new heroine of the “damage” class named Freya. She is the former rescuer of Overwatch, who has become a ruthless hunter for their heads. Being dexterous, aggressive and deadly, it is ideal for players who value speed, tactical movement and accurate blows. The crossbow and mobile abilities make it a threat in close and medium battle, and ultimatic ability entangles enemies, opening up opportunities for crushing command attacks.
In addition, the update brought an important change in the rating mode – now, before the match, the teams can ban two heroes on the role. For streamers, confidentiality settings were added – you can hide the icons, players and titles. The reporting system has become more convenient: if the offender is already punished, you will immediately receive a notification. The developers also accelerated the revival in 6V6-mode, so now the players return to battle 3 seconds earlier.
