The team of the first-speaker at the first person Splitgate 2 announced the launch of open alpha testing. This stage will last until March 2, 2025, and everyone can take part. PC users need to request access to Steamafter which the game will immediately appear in the library. On the consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S, just download a special client from a digital store.
The current alpha version of Splitgate 2 was replenished with new modes.
- Multi-Team Portal Warfare-offers large-scale 8v8v8 battles on a huge Glacier map, which is 20 times more than usual arenas.
- Splitball – players need to attack and defend themselves simultaneously, capturing and returning balls
- Firecracker – a mode inspired by Search and Destroy from Call of Duty, but with responds and dynamics of Splitgate.
The usual modes, such as Hotzone, Domination and Deathmatch, also have not gone anywhere.
There are more weapons – now there are eight on the faction (only 24), including new items like the Goliath revolver and the Blitz shotgun, plus a couple of powerful guns like BFB. They added new equipment-three to the fraction, for example, the Sandstorm sandstone or the Porta-Portal temporary portal. And finally, the authors took into account the feedback of the community: they accelerated the responds, lengthened the rounds, added more portals and introduced Launch Portal – a hybrid of the portal and springboard.
Together with the start of Alfa, the Twitch Drops campaign was launched, which allows you to get Haunt Cadence for viewing Streams – a skin for Aeros carbine.
