It seems that the developers of the action-adventure anime Neverness to Everness (NTE) require content creators to speak only positively about the project. At least that’s the impression I get after reading it post on the largest Russian-language Telegram channel for the game.
As the administrator of the Neverness to Everness community said, he was excluded from the list of content authors after publications negative feedback. Then he expressed his disappointment with the game after watching videos from the CBT, saying that the developers did not learn lessons from the launch of Tower of Fantasy and “stepped on the same rake.”
The channel owner attached a screenshot of a message from the NTE community manager (image below), which talks about permanent exclusion from the list of content creators. The reason was precisely that post criticizing the game, which “is strictly against the rules.” He also added that the developers have selected 10 streamers who are obliged only to praise the project and broadcast daily.
“This is, of course, completely surreal. It turns out I had a CC, and it turns out that if I have this status, I am obliged to lick the game🤯. At the same time, I was not given any access to the CBT, but at the same time, for some reason, I still have to bear the lie, along with everyone else, that everything is normal? Smells like crap, doesn’t it? Moreover, they literally chose 10 people among the content creators for the CBT and forced them to only praise the game and stream it every day for several hours, they literally wrote that if you don’t stream their game, you will be kicked.😨,” the post says (spelling and punctuation preserved).
This is not the first time that content creators have been forced to speak only positively about the game. Earlier it became known that a similar clause was in the agreement with the streamers for Marvel Rivals. However, then the developers acknowledged the presence of “inappropriate and misleading language” in the rules and apologized.
Neverness to Everness is currently in closed beta testing in China. You can watch gameplay videos from this stage at this link.
