Fornite developers are going to finalize the graphics in the PC version with the release of update 17.00, that is, next week. Players will be able to enjoy improved Storm and Cloud effects, as well as improved smoke and liquid simulation. In addition, bloom and glare effects will be modified and the shadow quality will be improved.

These improvements will be available when you enable “epic” settings, while the current maximum settings will turn to “high”. “Low” and “Medium”, as well as the alpha version of the “performance” render mode, will remain the same.

As the “epic” graphics get better, they will need a more powerful configuration. To appreciate the game in all its glory, your computer will need to meet the following system requirements:

  • Video Card: Nvidia GTX 1080, AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT or Equivalent Graphics Card (4GB or greater)
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-8700, AMD Ryzen 7 3700x or equivalent
  • RAM: 16 GB or more
  • NVMe solid state drive
  • 64-bit Windows 10

The recommended and minimum system requirements will remain unchanged.
