The first round of closed beta testing of the mobile jRPG Persona 5: The Phantom X took place back in March. Now the developers are going to launch another one. It became known that the stage called Awakening Test will begin on August 18 and will last for exactly one week – until August 25.
You can apply for testing at a special page, but it must be done before August 14. Invitations will be sent out the day before the servers start, on August 17th. This stage will take place only in China, although you can register from other countries.
Persona 5: The Phantom X is a free-to-play mobile JRPG set in the Persona 5 universe. The game takes place in Tokyo and revolves around a new team of Phantom Thieves. The novelty retains the style and basic mechanics of the original, but offers improved graphics, an adapted interface and controls for mobile devices. You play as a high school student who attends school during the day and engages in various activities such as baseball or watching movies with friends. After their studies, they will be able to go to another world, which is a palace with different themes, and use their Personas to fight opponents in exciting battles.
