Back in May of this year, it became known that the free-to-play turn-based role-playing game Persona 5: The Phantom X would be released in Japan and the global market. This information appeared in the financial report, but there was no official announcement at that time. Now the developers announced via a newly created X account that the game will be unveiled at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2024, which will be held from September 26 to 29 at the Makuhari Messe Exhibition Complex in Chiba, Japan.
Let us remind you that the release of Persona 5: The Phantom X took place on April 12 in China, as well as on April 18 in Taiwan and South Korea. The game is available on PC and mobile devices running iOS and Android.
Persona 5: The Phantom X is a free-to-play jRPG set in the Persona 5 universe, set in Tokyo and featuring a new team of Phantom Thieves. The new product retains the style and basic mechanics of the original, but offers improved graphics, an adapted interface and controls for mobile devices. You play as a high school student who attends school during the day and engages in various activities such as baseball or watching movies with friends. After studying, they will be able to enter another world, which features palaces with different themes, and use their Personas to fight opponents in exciting battles.
