Users noticed that the game appeared on the PlayStation Store Gray Zone Attackwhich in its description and first image strongly resembles the extraction shooter Gray Zone Warfare. The developer of the project is ESAIL LTD, and the release is scheduled for 2025.

Presumably, the image published on the PlayStation Store was created using a neural network, and one of the official pieces of art for Gray Zone Warfare was taken as a basis. The original slogans also underwent a slight modification. For example, “Every move matters” in Gray Zone Attack sounds like “Every decision matters.”

At first glance, this may seem like a mere coincidence, but if you take a closer look, it becomes clear that the description of Gray Zone Attack practically echoes the entire description of Gray Zone Warfare and all the stated strengths of the project from MADFINGER Games.

One notable difference is the lack of a multiplayer mode. The Gray Zone Attack page states that the project is a single-player project.

This is not the first time such similarities have occurred in the gaming industry. In some cases, the authors openly admit that they were inspired by another game, and in others they remain silent or in every possible way deny borrowing. For example, a few days ago LIGHT OF MOTIRAM was demonstrated, which is very reminiscent of Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West.
