Kim Hyun Joong admitted that he is a big fan of the Sims game series, and in the game he is developing, he wants to implement all the mechanics he dreamed of. - The game will have a “rumor” system. If you force your character to do some bad things in one part of the city, then over time some NPCs throughout the city will find out about it. This can lead to unexpected effects and unique situations. This is the first time this system has been used in games of this genre at such a complex level of simulation.
- The game actively uses the capabilities of neural networks and artificial intelligence to create unique elements. For example, you can create a unique design on clothing or decorative items.
- The producer clearly demonstrated how, with the help of AI, a figurine was created from a photograph of Mickey Mouse in the game, which could be placed as a decorative item. Each similar procedure created different figurines.
- As for the functionality of creating and customizing characters, inZOI’s capabilities in this matter are superior to all competitors. Players have access to not only several dozen balancers in which they can choose values, but also a significant number of points for fine-tuning. This allows you to create truly unique characters.
- You can share your creations through Canvas, an in-game user-generated content platform.
- The developers plan to add support for user modifications. However, at the start of early access, planned until the end of 2024, this functionality most likely will not be available.
- inZOI will not have social content like MMO projects.
- The business model will be built on the sale of the game and paid DLC with various content.
- The genre of simulation games is currently not in great demand among both developers and players. Perhaps this is due to the fact that games in this genre lack something new. However, the introduction of artificial intelligence can provide a breath of fresh air and attract a larger audience of players.
