Lesta Games has announced the imminent start of the qualifying stage of the e-sports tournament “Breakthrough. From Kaliningrad to Kamchatka” based on the multiplayer action game “World of Ships”. Already in July, three tournaments are expected in three Russian cities, such as Kaliningrad, St. Petersburg and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, in which players will have the opportunity to compete for an impressive prize fund.
In Kaliningrad, this eSports event will take place on July 6, where players will be divided into teams depending on their experience. The tournament in St. Petersburg is expected on July 20 and 21 at the Lesta Games office. Finally, in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky the matches will be held on July 27, on the eve of Navy Day.
“We chose Kaliningrad, St. Petersburg and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky for a reason – each of these cities is famous for its maritime traditions! We are confident that the “World of Ships” tournaments will turn out to be very spectacular, will give local residents the opportunity to feel the eSports spirit, and our entire huge audience will learn more about the regions and, perhaps, even visit them,” said Alexander Ilyichev, product director of the “World of Ships” .

This year, our Breakthrough Series tournaments will be held in three cities, where everyone can demonstrate their strategic talent and desire to win. Tournaments in St. Petersburg and Kaliningrad will be broadcast live. In addition, the World of Ships team promises to release a video about the regions and the course of the tournament, as well as interview players and spectators of the competition.
