An interesting suggestion regarding MIUI 13 release dates was voiced by a super moderator on the Mi Community forum. Along with this, the updated list of Xiaomi, Redmi, POCO, and Black Shark devices that can receive the MIUI 13 update has now been replenished with the POCO C3, Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, and smartphones of the new Mi 10T line.

Super moderator posted possible MIUI 13 release date on the forum community Xiaomi Mi. In response to a question regarding the expected release date of MIUI 13 (the question was clearly not from the user Redmi Note 8), the Manwex moderator posted the following answer: “MIUI 13 will be presented in the second quarter of 2021”… It looks like this is roughly the expected timeline for starting the rollout of the MIUI 12 skin successor, but this needs to be treated with a grain of salt, as even a super moderator has less information than any senior Xiaomi software engineer.

Predicted listings of Xiaomi devices and brand-related smartphones that will receive the MIUI 13 update have begun to appear, and some of them look definitely more optimistic than others. For example, there are speculations that Redmi 4, Mi Mix 2, and, yes, Redmi Note 8 will be considered candidates for the MIUI 13 update. Fortunately, a more plausible prediction has been published, which does not include smartphones released in 2016 and the poor old Redmi Note 8.

The list includes the following devices:

    • Xiaomi Mi 10T, Mi 10T Lite, Mi 10T Pro

    • Xiaomi Mi Note 10, Mi Note 10 Lite, Mi Note 10 Pro

    • Xiaomi Mi 10 5G, Mi 10 Youth 5G, Mi 10 Lite 5G, Mi 10 Pro 5G, Mi 10 Ultra

    • Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro

    • Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha

    • Xiaomi Mi 9 Explorer, Mi 9 Pro, Mi 9 Pro 5G

    • Redmi K30, Redmi K30 5G, Redmi K30i 5G, Redmi K30 5G Racing, Redmi K30 Pro, Redmi K30 Pro Zoom, Redmi K30 Ultra

    • Redmi K20 Pro, Redmi K20 Pro Premium

    • Redmi 10X 4G, Redmi 10X 5G, Redmi 10X Pro 5G

    • Redmi Note 9, Redmi Note 9S, Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max

    • Redmi 9, Redmi 9A, Redmi 9C, Redmi 9i, Redmi 9 Prime

    • Redmi Note 8, Redmi Note 8T, Redmi Note 8 Pro

    • POCO X3, POCO X3 NFC

    • POCO M2, POCO M2 Pro

    • POCO F2 Pro

    • POCO X2, POCO X2 Pro

    • POCO C3

    • Black Shark 3, Black Shark 3 Pro, Black Shark 3S

  • Black Shark 2, Black Shark 2 Pro.

While popular devices like the POCO F1 and Redmi Note 8 Pro are still not included in this projected list of smartphones that will eventually run MIUI 13, new models have been added to it: Xiaomi Mi 10T, Mi Mix Alpha, POCO X2 Pro, POCO C3 and Black Shark gaming smartphones… MIUI 13 is expected to bring optimized animations, improved dark mode, better notification management, and a redesigned Always-on Display feature.
