The release of the real-time strategy Men of War II was supposed to take place this month, but, unfortunately, fans of the genre will have to wait longer. Best Way studio announced that the game will be released only in 2024. According to the developers, they made the decision to postpone after carefully studying player feedback.
“Our team has enjoyed working with our dedicated community of fans during numerous playtests this year, and we have collected a wealth of data and feedback on our project,” said Maxim Kamensky, Chief Producer of Men of War II at Best Way. “We received a lot of great ideas and suggestions that we eventually decided to implement in the game itself, but it was for this reason that we were not able to meet the original schedule to eliminate all known bugs and problems for the September premiere. We believe our fans deserve to receive a fully functional and bug-free game, and we ask for continued patience so we can ultimately deliver a high-quality product to them.”
The authors noted that all initially planned content and functionality for Men of War II has already been fully completed. However, due to the huge scale of the project, they need more time to bring it to the required technical perfection that they are striving for.
Let us remind you that the final closed beta testing of Men of War II took place in August. It is possible that after the transfer, the developers will carry out an additional stage in order to check the changes made.
