Gravity has postponed the global release of the cross-platform MMORPG Ragnarok Online 3 to 2027, but the game could be released in China in the fourth quarter of 2026. This became known from the financial report for the fourth quarter of 2025.
Until recently, there was speculation in the community that the developers would try to release the game in a number of Asian countries first, as tests were focused on players from Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand and Singapore. However, today’s news came as a surprise to everyone. Let us remind you that the license to launch the game in China was issued back in November 2025, and the publisher will be Shanghai Hot-Blood Network Technology Co., Ltd.
Overall, Gravity is expected to have a busy 2026 with many new game releases, including ten projects in the Ragnarok franchise.
