Konami has announced the release date for the sequel to the Bomberman game, Super Bomberman R 2. It will release on September 14, 2023 on PC via Steam, as well as on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
Super Bomberman R 2 is a continuation of the multiplayer arcade Super Bomberman R Online, released in 2018. The game features both the familiar Standard, Grand Prix and Battle 64 modes, as well as a completely new one called Castle, in which players are divided into attackers and defenders to fight for treasure. In addition, players can go through the story mode and create their own level through the map editor.
Pre-orders for Super Bomberman R 2 are already open, but for now only on consoles.
