Square Enix has announced the launch of an open-world action role-playing game called Forspoken. The project is available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store (access will open in the evening), as well as on the PlayStation 5 for $70. On the territory of Russia, the game is not for sale.
Forspoken received fairly mixed reviews. The average score on Metacritic is 68 points, and among the reviews there are both positive and negative. Let’s note some of them:
Forspoken is the debut project from Luminous Productions, the developer behind the jRPG Final Fantasy XV. The game tells the story of Frey Holland from New York, who mysteriously finds herself in a fantasy land called Atia. She discovers a magical decoration on her hand that can talk, and also discovers a magical gift in herself. Together with his new bracelet friend, Frey sets out on a journey in hopes of finding his way home.
