ROCKFISH Games announced the launch of the console version of the space RPG shooter EVERSPACE 2. From now on, the game is available not only on PC, but also on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S (including Xbox Game Pass).
EVERSPACE 2 runs on PlayStation 5 at 60 FPS and supports DualSense controller features such as adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. On Xbox Series X, the game runs at the same 60 FPS, and on Xbox Series S, it runs at 30 FPS. The console version from Microsoft received support for Xbox Play Anywhere, allowing you to buy one game for PC and Xbox, as well as share progress.
“EVERSPACE 2 launches today on Xbox and PlayStation, and we’re thrilled to see space console fans taking to the stars in our sci-fi action RPG. This adventure has been in development for over six years, and it has been an incredibly exciting process for all members of the team,” comments Michael Schade, Executive Director of ROCKFISH Games. “But the journey for EVERSPACE 2 fans doesn’t end there. In addition to a free update later this fall, we’ve already begun work on a major expansion to the game that will bring more star systems, story content, characters, and most importantly, loot to explore.”
By the way, the EVERSPACE 2 Collector’s Edition will be released on October 3, 2023, which will include a steelbook, a 64-page artbook and a digital soundtrack.
