Visionary Realms summed up the results of the first MMORPG PANTHEON: Rise of the Fallen, launched in December 2024. With almost 100 thousand copies sold and “very positive” reviews in Steam, developers consider the start successful and share plans for a full release of version 1.0.
The transition from a small group of loyal fans to a full -fledged living service was a real test for the team. Now the main task is to improve game experience. The support service works daily, helping users, fixing the bugs, monitoring the servers and solving technical problems. Since the beginning of early access, the team has successfully copes with the support of thousands of simultaneous players, promptly responding to their requests.
At the beginning of 2025, work began on updating the engine to Unity 6, and on February 6 the transition was finally completed. Despite the inevitable difficulties associated with such a large -scale shift, the upgrade is already laying the basis for future improvements. Players noticed changes in the atmosphere of dungeons: updated lighting and ambient made them more gloomy and impressive.
In addition, the studio again attracted several specialists who previously worked on the project. The team was again joined by David “Roenick” Shlow and Jn Gerhart, as well as the new employee Andy Raven, who will engage in a gameplay under the leadership of the creative director of Chris “Joppa” Perkins.
In the immediate plans of the developers:
- Druid – a new class will appear in the coming weeks.
- PVP – servers with special rules for the hardcore PVP.
- Content – Wildblood camps and Ashbreater dungeon in Silent Plains.
- Quests and dialogs – Wild’s End location processing for the convenience of low -level players.
- Classes – finalizing abilities for all classes up to 40 levels.
The team also announced the transition to a weekly format for the release of patches. Some updates will be “technical”, without visible changes in the world, but they will allow support for servers, carry out internal work and add content on readiness.
