Studio Midwinter Entertainment has released a letter in which they talked about plans for the future of the shooter Scavengers. From it it became known that the co-op mode “Horde” will be removed from the game on October 28, 2021. As the developers explained, there has been a steady decline in the number of players in this mode lately, so it was decided to shift all efforts to improve the gameplay.
With regards to “Expeditions”, the main format of the game, they are planning to improve significantly. The developers will make changes to add more variety and make matches less repetitive. More details are promised to be revealed later.
The Scavengers hit Early Access on PC on May 1, 2021. Unfortunately, the game did not find much success – according to statistics from SteamCharts.com, the average online on Steam is 100-200 people.
