The publisher of Hooded Horse and the Eremite Games developers studio announced the second major addition to the urban planning “sling” Against the Storm under the name Nightwatchers. Its release on a PC is scheduled for July 31, 2025, and information about the console will be announced later. With the release of the Nightwatchers additions, a new group of inhabitants will appear in the game – the race of bats. They introduce them to have a talent for metallurgy, intolerance of weakness and strong faith in a common good. Their “court execution” ability allows you to expel a member of another race, using this severe punishment to motivate the rest of the labor force. They also become determined when representatives of other species leave the settlement.
The endurance of bats can be useful in two new biomes. The first – a rocky gorge – is a harsh, devoid of trees, a terrain rich in metals and stone. Ruthless merchants flourish here, ready to exploit anyone for their own benefit. The mechanics of the “black market” will become a salvation in conditions of extremely unstable prices and the availability of goods, while all operations will be hidden from the vigilant eyes of the scorched queen. The second biom called Bamboo Plains is a home for an unexpected ally, which can help those who think non -standard. Despite the fact that the constant rains made these regions unsuitable for agriculture, a giant fluffy beak is capable of producing a plentiful amount of fertilizers to enrich the soil and help in creating a prosperous settlement, subject to proper care of it, including the management of its hunger, thirst and warmth.
