The South Korean Game Company Hybe IM, which is a subsidiary of the Hybe conglomerate company, announced its rebranding. Three key concepts are combined in the new DRIMAGE name: Dream (Dream), Interactive Media (Interactive Media), Age (era/era). According to the leadership, this reflects the company’s desire to create an era of interactive entertainment, where, through interaction in games, users will be able to experience different emotions, discover stories and embody dreams.
“Drimage will create games filled with stories and dreams, and expand the boundaries of interactive media. The change of name is both a statement about our new direction and the reference point. We want to create moments where the imagination meets with reality, ” – Jung at Yong, General Director, Drimage.
Together with the new name, a new corporate identity (CI) was presented, visually reflecting the brand philosophy, focused on the emotional connection and interaction with the user.
To date, Drimage has attracted investments in the amount of 137.5 billion won (about $ 100 million), which provides the company with a strong basis for expanding its own IP and increasing global competitiveness through the development of content and technology.
In the second half of 2025, the company will begin active preparation for the release of three key projects:
- OZ Re: Write – The RPG collection with atmospheric graphics and a fabulous setting from the Macovill studio will be released in Japan.
- Architect: Land of Exiles – a large -scale MMORPG with an open world on Unreal Engine 5 and strategic battles, developed by the Aqua Tree studio, will enter the Korean market.
- Arkharon-a PVP explosion, developed in cooperation with Bonfire Studio, founded by natives of Blizzard, is preparing to launch in Korea and Japan.
In addition, Dreamage already has experience in developing original projects based on Hive artists, including Rhythm Hive and In the Seom with BTS, and also works on new IP.
