A week after the announcement, the Bohemia Incubator studio published a gameplay video of the hybrid shooter and strategy Silica. In the first part of the video, the developers focused on the strategic part of the human faction. The gameplay for the commander is mainly in the construction of buildings that give certain advantages to the team.
However, if you get tired of watching everything from above, then you can easily switch to a soldier right during the match. In this form, the game turns into a multiplayer first-person shooter in which you have to fight with opponents. This is exactly what was shown in the second part of the video.
Silica is a first-person shooter/real-time strategy hybrid. In this game, you can fight on the battlefield as an infantryman or control vehicles, as well as command an alien army, watching the battle from a bird’s eye view. The project is being developed by Bohemia Incubator, the internal studio of Bohemia Interactive, the creators of Arma and DayZ.
