There will be no story campaign in Battlefield 2042, medics will be able to run with a sniper and more

The developers of the shooter Battlefield 2042 answered fan questions, where we learned a lot of new information. Let’s start with specialists: they will replace familiar classes. They can use any weapon, they have their own active and passive abilities. At the start, 10 specialists will be available to us. A medic character, for example, will be able to run around with a sniper rifle. Also, immediately after the launch, gamers will be allowed to fight on seven new maps.

But on the new generation consoles the maximum number of players on the server will reach 128, while on the old – only 64. Dynamic weather changes will be available to all generations. And most importantly: Battlefield 2042 will be purely multiplayer, that is, a story campaign will not be added to it. Yes, you can go to the map with bots, but you still need an Internet connection.
