Moto G smartphones have always been equipped with entry-level and mid-range SoCs. Still, during the recent announcement of the top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, a company spokesman announced that the Moto G series would include a top-end model on the Qualcomm 800-series SoC. Many felt that since the announcement was made during the Snapdragon 888, it will be used in a promising model. But no, we were talking about Snapdragon 865. On its basis, the Nio smartphone, shown in the live photo below, is built.

There won't be any Moto G on Snapdragon 888. But there is already a Nio model on Snapdragon 865 - and this is how it looks live

The picture was published by the famous insider Evan Blass – a car of many true leaks. As for the characteristics of the model, they are already known.

Nio (this is the device’s codename) received 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of internal flash memory, a 5000 mAh battery, Android 11, and a USB-C port. The photo clearly shows the front camera system of two sensors. The main resolution is expected to be 16 megapixels, the additional 2 megapixels. The device’s main camera is assigned sensors with a resolution of 64, 16, and 2 Mp. The Moto Nio chip will be the Desktop Mode interface similar to the well-known Samsung DeX.

It is not yet clear when the model will premiere. But it is not a fact that Lenovo will have time to present Nio (whatever it is called in retail) before the end of the year.
