But it’s still very expensive
Microsoft Surface Duo has introduced a few days ago and immediately unpleasantly impressed everyone with its price tag. 1400 dollars is a lot for a device on not the most recent platform, without NFC, and with a big question about autonomy, albeit in an unusual form factor.

As it turns out, the Surface Duo will have a couple of additional benefits that we weren’t initially told about. First, Microsoft is promising to release Android and security updates to Surface Duo within three years. That is, the club of “three-year updates” now includes devices Google Pixel, Samsung flagships and a new product from Microsoft.
The second feature of the smartphone will not interest everyone. This is an unlocked bootloader. This means that the smartphone will be easy to reflash and modify its software. Enthusiasts will love it, but it still doesn’t justify the hefty price tag.
