In June, publisher Ironhide Game released Legends of Kingdom Rush on iOS. This isn’t quite the tower defense we’ve come to expect from the Kingdom Rush series, so welcome to Junkworld. Everything will be the same there, only in a different setting. Instead of medieval knights and magicians, players will receive brave rangers and post-apocalyptic waste. The battles are intense and dynamic, to win you need to collect cards with heroes and buildings; in fact, there is a solid element of the card games here. Your arsenal (cards) can and should be improved for currency.
Ironhide issues daily challenges and tasks to test your tactical skills. In general, the developers promise many hours of gameplay. In total, the game has 40 levels and two biomes. The plot revolves around heroes who must be defeated by a tyrannical regime.
A trial run for Junkworld has now taken place, mainly in English-speaking countries: Great Britain, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and Uruguay. Only Android is available from the platforms, more countries and iOS support will be added by developers in the future.
