The developers of Path of Exile have launched a major expansion called Trial of the Ancestors, which was announced during the recent ExileCon 2023 event. For now, it is only available on PC, and console owners will have to wait until August 23rd.
In the new league, players can visit the Karui afterlife to take on ten tribes in a series of tournaments for valuable rewards. Before the start of each match, you can choose an enemy tribe, depending on the loot offered, as well as study the location of opponents and strategically place your warriors. After that, you need to destroy the totems together with the team. In order to open access to the tournament, you will need silver coins that can be transferred.
In addition, the expansion added 16 new Atlas keystones and 14 new support gems, as well as the return of the Forbidden Sanctuary in a modified form and reworked the Ascendancy classes Defender and Warchief. More details can be found on the special page.
