Riot Games has redesigned the Split map in the multiplayer first-person shooter Valorant with Update 2.01. According to the developers, the purpose of these changes is to increase attackers’ capabilities and reduce the number of zones with a 50% attack chance and the depth of some corner zones.
In some places, new objects appeared, in others, the passages were widened, and in others, on the contrary, it became a little closer. In general, the defending side’s life on this map will now be much more difficult, since the attackers will be able to react faster to ambushes and will have more room for tactics. You can see all the changes in the video below.
This update also reduced Jett smoke duration from 7 to 4.5 seconds, added the ability to hide Custom Match matches from match history, and fixed bugs. The full patch note can be found on the official website.
