Since its launch, the VK Play Live streaming platform has existed as a separate platform from VK Video, which was not entirely convenient and divided the audience into two services. Now, finally, the developers have completed the integration, so all live broadcasts take place on a single platform called VK Video Live.
From now on, all streams launched via VK Video Live are displayed in the broadcast directory of the VK Video web version. When you click on such a stream, you will be redirected to the broadcast page – from there you can return and back. Apps for mobile devices and TV also display all streams.
The VK Video Live service supports various broadcasting capabilities, such as:
- creating short cuts;
- interactive chat features;
- stream in resolution up to 4k and bitrate up to 30,000 kbps;
- paid subscriptions;
- unique emoticons and channel roles depending on the subscription level;
- indefinite storage of records.
For authorization in VK Video Live, a VK ID account is now used. If you have not previously linked your old VK Play Live account to it, you can still do this by following this manual.
