Gaijin Entertainment announced the addition of ray tracing support to the mobile multiplayer action game War Thunder Mobile. At the moment, the technology works on iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max right from the day the devices are released. The game also supports Ultra High Textures and takes advantage of Metal FX Upscaling technology.
“War Thunder Mobile takes mobile graphics to the next level by leveraging the hardware-accelerated ray tracing capabilities of the new iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, powered by the revolutionary A17 Pro chip. This technology makes shadows much more realistic, which helps players immerse themselves even deeper in the furious battles of military vehicles. Support for Ultra High Textures technology, in turn, improves the image quality of the environment and vehicle models, allowing players to truly believe that they are in a real combat zone. In addition to graphical enhancements, these devices will feature support for Metal FX Upscaling, providing superior optimization and smooth gameplay,” says the press release.
War Thunder Mobile was released on August 15, 2023 on PC and mobile devices running iOS and Android.
