Perhaps one of the hottest topics of discussion in the Korean media over the past few days is the lawsuit between Nexon and Kakao Games. The publishers of Lineage 2M accused the authors of ArcheAge War of copyright infringement and unfair competition, and in the future they are going to sue the creators of other clones.
A journalist from the Korean portal www.inven.co.kr, in a conversation with Wemade CEO Jang Hyun-kook, did not bypass this situation and asked if there would be similar problems with MMORPG Night Crows. To this, the developer stated his extensive experience in copyright disputes and agreed that intellectual property should be protected. However, as he believes, their creation is not a copy.
Speaking about Night Crows, Jang Hyun Kook mentioned three unique features of the game. Firstly, this is the quality of the novelty: “Not only the graphics, but the overall quality of the game itself is so high that it cannot be compared with previous games.” Secondly, a special role is given to the glider, which acts as a strategic element that affects the battle. Finally, thirdly, the team has created special dungeons called Battlefield, which are “fun and interesting to collect resources during the competition.” Apparently, we are talking about the PvP element in the dungeons.
Night Crows will be released on April 27, 2023 on PC and mobile devices running iOS and Android.
