As part of the official discord server, Park Kyung-Soo, responsible for the “revival” of the MMORPG Throne and Liberty, spoke about future changes that await the game. It is worth noting that everything said is in the development stage and it is not a fact that it will not undergo changes by the time of implementation. As individual elements are ready, they will be announced in advance for discussion with the audience.
So, briefly about the plans for the next couple of months of game development:
- For starters, the second season of Challenge Dimensional Circle, which requires players to complete harder versions of co-op dungeons, will contain higher level runes. This applies to both the maximum level and the minimum, which will allow newcomers not to feel a big gap with the veterans of the game. The first season is currently scheduled to end on November 6, 2024.
- The next point that arouses the developers’ interest is changing the character’s equipment. Firstly, they plan to strengthen Tier-2 quality items and arch-boss weapons, since the difference from Tier-1 seems imperceptible. Secondly, the characteristics of all equipment that can be obtained in the new Talandre region will be revised. The most unpopular and weak things will be considered separately.
- Artifacts that were supposed to appear in the game on August 21 should be expected in October 2024. Previously, they were postponed for two reasons: the need for additional testing of this system and poor performance in terms of players mastering the rune system.
- A rebalance of all weapons in PvE and PvP is being prepared, but now the PvE balance is the priority. There is no guarantee that all balance changes will be installed at the same time and, perhaps, this process will drag on for several patches.
- As for new weapon skills, work is already underway. This will have something to do with the expansion of the “Guardians” system that will be announced “soon” and skills based on “weapon combinations”. At the same time, the capacity of the character’s skill panel will be increased.
- A permanent PvP zone will appear in October. Most likely, we are talking about an inter-server GvG battleground, where several guilds will be able to take part at once. The developers briefly mentioned this mode at a June meeting with players.
- There will be no automatic fishing.
- Archers will face a change related to the revision of the attack bonus based on target range. Moreover, this will not be a buff, but a nerf.
