Where to find all hip bags in Resident Evil 3 Remake

We tell you where to find all the hip bags in Resident Evil 3 Remake and how to increase the capacity of the inventory of Jill and Carlos.

In order to make your way through Raccoon City from Resident Evil 3 Remake, filled with dozens of zombies, you will have to make every effort. Jill’s inventory is small and consumable items are plentiful. Their slots are occupied by cartridges, grenades, weapons, medicines and key items. Therefore, at first you will have to find a balance between what to take with you and what should be put in the chest until better times. Everything is like in the classic games of the series!

However, hip bags will make the task easier, each of which increases the capacity of the inventory by 2 additional slots. As you progress through the game and explore additional locations, you will be able to find several bags. Only a small part will lie in a conspicuous place. Below we cover everything you need to know when looking for hip bags. Together with us you can maximize the carrying capacity of Jill and Carlos!

Raccoon City (substation)

The first hip pouch is the easiest to get. You will find it in the control room of the electrical substation. Examine the ladder to the right of the control panel and typewriter. Almost impossible to miss.

Raccoon City (hours at the subway station)

The second hip pouch in Raccoon City requires solving a tricky puzzle. To be more precise, you are required to complete several additional steps. We are talking about a monument in the form of a clock, which stands at the metro station. It has three slots for three gems. As you can see, it is up to you to find them. One of the stones is in the toy store, another is in the store across the street, and the third is in the donut shop (safe room). Collect them all before making your way back through the story to the subway, where you’ll have to run from Nemesis. In order to get into the toy store, you need a master key, and in a regular store – a bolt cutter.

Raccoon City (sewer)

As soon as you pick up the battery (plot item) in the sewers, go up the stairs near the place where you fell into the flooded tunnels. On the second floor, kill the gamma hunter, and then use the battery on the slot by the door. After opening the first door, go in a circle, unlock the grate and take the battery. Go back and look to the right. There will be a door to a safe room. To open it, insert the battery into the slot. This is an optional room, so you may have walked past it.

Police Station (West Office)

You will need to open the safe, which contains another hip bag. The safe is located in the western office of the police station, where you will get after killing a lot of zombies. The code to open the safe is similar to that used in Resident Evil 2 Remake (which is logical). If you do not remember it or want to find it in person, then you need to pick up and study the document lying in a dark room. The code combination is 9 left, 15 right, 7 left.

Hospital (lobby)

After discovering the vaccine as Carlos, you will need to protect the hospital lobby from zombie attacks. In the middle of the fight, the light will go out, and then the hunter will kick the door behind the reception desk. After finishing off the enemy when the light turns on, enter this room and look for a hip pouch.

Hospital (underground storage)

The last hip pouch is in the open. You will find it when you leave the hospital to go to the underground storage. Examine the area next to the typewriter in the room located in front of the entrance to the warehouse. This is up to the point where you have to look for 3 fuses.
