Eastwind Pavilion studio has released a major update 1.2 for the third-person action-adventure Where Winds Meet. This update brought with it a lot of new content, as well as changes aimed at improving the gameplay.
A short list of the main changes:
- Nine Deadly Paths Base and Mistvale Prison — New locations, including an underground city and a secret solo zone in the misty forest of Kaifeng.
- Kaifeng Chapter FinaleA — The Glimmer Gambit storyline concludes the city’s history and opens up access to the high-level Higher Freedom campaign.
- Co-punishment system — A unique justice mechanic, in which a player’s mentors, students, or close friends can be sent to prison for repeated offenses.
- Pre-season of guild battles — Start of large-scale competitions with division into regional zones (Asia, Europe, America) and a phase of training tactical skills.
- First Jianghu Fighting Games — A temporary event with a set of tests for speed, strength and teamwork, available until February 3.
- Boss training dummies – In Trial of the Sword mode, you can now summon copies of specific bosses with customizable parameters to practice tactics.
- Mechanics of fortune telling — New activity in the village of Harvestfall for players who have not yet chosen a school or sect.
- Mentoring system “Ties of Swallows” — A bonus program for veterans to help new and returning players master current content.
- Inventory automation — The function of auto-recycling equipment according to specified filters and the ability to restore resources within seven days.
- Photo mode improvements – Supports three light sources for realistic shadows, night mode and 4K screenshots.
