NetherRealm Studios has unveiled a new trailer for the Mortal Kombat 1 fighting game at gamescom 2023. The video is dedicated to Outworld queen Sindel, General Shao and Earthrealm defender Raiden.
In the trailer, you can see how much the canon of the series has been changed. For example, Liu Kang brings young Raiden to participate in the tournament. This fact literally turns the old canon upside down.
As per tradition, the trailer contains a lot of blood, a crunch of breaking bones, and several fatalities.
Mortal Kombat 1 is a reboot of the famous Mortal Kombat game series, which takes place in a new universe that appeared after the events of the previous game. The game is scheduled to release on September 19, 2023 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
