The release of the multiplayer first-person shooter XDefiant is approaching, and in honor of this, the game’s executive producer Mark Rubin published letter. He addressed the fans, talking about the preparations for the release and thanking them. The full translation of the letter is below:
“Hi all! I know it was quiet and I apologize for that. We are at the stage where we are preparing XDefiant for release and fixing all the bugs that appear at the last moment. And in the new IP (that is, not in the sequel of the sequel of the sequel of the sequel of the sequel …) we need time to do these steps correctly. I love how excited everyone is about our game. We’ve already attracted a lot more people than we expected, and I share your frustration that you just want to be able to play. But unlike what my mom thinks, making a game isn’t all about fun and games. And not every part of the process is as much fun as the others. But there is light at the end of the tunnel. The team is hard at work and we’re making progress every day to get the game in your hands as soon as it’s ready. Thanks again to everyone for being a fan of our game and I hope to see you all in the game soon.” — Executive Producer, Mark Rubin.
It was previously reported that the release of XDefiant will take place in the summer of 2023. However, apparently, the release will be slightly delayed.
