Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra borrows an additional screen from Mi Band 5

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun revealed that the rear AMOLED display of the premium smartphone Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra based on last year’s popular smart bracelet Mi Band 5… This step can not only reduce production costs, but also reduce subsequent maintenance costs.

If last year’s fitness bracelet had an identical 1.1-inch AMOLED screen, now we are seeing a kind of revival of this component. However, it is unknown if these are refurbished items from unsold Mi Band 5 devices or new displays ordered from a supplier.
