Discussion of this issue was usually conducted without demonstrating the capabilities of third-party software, and NCSOFT assured that it was closely monitoring the situation. This went on for several months, but one South Korean player got tired of it and clearly demonstrated the problem.
This video clearly shows that the defense skill works perfectly without player intervention. In a long post on one of the Korean forums, the author of the video said that he purchased the program on a discord server, which he found through a Google search. After that, he simply wrote a script with the functionality he needed into a txt file, launched the purchased program and game, and then made sure that all the features were working.
According to the author of the video, there are macros for moving around the game world, targeting both monsters and other players, as well as using the character’s skills. You can even use skills to restore your allies’ health points.
The person who demonstrated the video and screenshots does not encourage or advertise the use of such programs. His goal was only to show and prove that such functionality exists. And judging by the correspondence on the Discord server, all this has been going on since January 2024.
After this publication on the official forum and on various gaming forums, “players became furious” and began to joke about the quality of work of NCSOFT. The developers, in turn, published on April 6 messagein which they promised to thoroughly investigate the situation and punish all users who resorted to using these “macros.”
