The continuation of the cult shooter promises to sparkle with new colors and tell the story from the inside.

Game process

After downloading BioShock 2 from a torrent, you will find that the familiar environment and game mechanics have not changed much. You again travel through familiar locations from level to level, fight mutants and use “plasmoids” and “tonics”. The changes affected mainly some details and trifles. To begin with, you are in control of the “big daddy” and the little sisters now play an extremely important role in your journey. In your hands is both the opportunity to ruthlessly kill any of them, and take them under your care. The second option is much more priority, because your union brings good dividends. You let the baby drain resources from the corpses and ensure her safety. The baby gives you a vital “adam” and you improve your weapons, characteristics and performance. The next innovation concerns flooded areas. Now you can travel underwater, imposingly stepping along the ocean floor and admiring the fish swimming by. These transitions between game locations will give you a break from intense battles and constant attacks of mutants. Underwater travel is absolutely safe and allows you to relax. And, perhaps, the most important and significant change. Now your character is able to use “plasmids” and shoot at the same time. In the first part, this was not possible and you had to constantly switch between these two useful functions. Well, new weapons, bosses, enemies and tonics – this, of course, is also in abundance.

Bioshock 2 features

• Environment and appearance. The game looks in some places much better than the original. The music is still pleasant, the city is beautiful, the mutants are insane. The developers have not departed from the classic canons of the first part, and this is even good. We fell in love with Bioshock for its atmosphere and beauty, and it is worth noting that in the sequel everything is in its place and even with some pleasant changes for the better;
• A new take on storytelling. Interestingly, the control falls entirely on, so to speak, a “local resident” and the game reveals the complex internal relationships between mutants and other inhabitants of the underwater city. From this side, many dark spots in the history of the original become clearer and complement the overall picture well;
• Multiplayer. Nothing special, but the fact that it was added should be noted.
