The developers of the turn-based role-playing game Honkai: Star Rail held a live broadcast during which they shared details of the upcoming major update 1.6 “Crown of Mortal and Divine.” We will tell you briefly about them in this article.
As usual, a new storyline will appear in patch 1.6. This time, the Pathfinder will meet the scientist Ruan Mei at the Hertha space station, who accidentally created an anomaly – a copy of the Bug Lord. A failed experiment resulted in the Old Wormhole Crater being temporarily recreated in the station’s Isolated Area. Now our hero needs to intervene and help eliminate this threat.
The “Virtual Universe” mode will be replenished with new content. Now, before starting the game, players will be able to choose the Path of Erudition. In the Gold and Gears simulation, you can customize different effects for the six sides of the dice, and to get more dice effects, you need to collect Mastering Secrets. As players progress, they will have the opportunity to unlock more powerful sides of the dice and unlock new modes.
The new characters in the update will be:
- Ruan Mei (5★, Ice type, Path of Harmony) – Member of the Genius Society #81 and an expert in the field of biological sciences, as well as one of the founders of the Virtual Universe Project. Capable of increasing the speed and efficiency of breaking through vulnerabilities for all allies.
- Ratio (5★, Imaginary Type, Path of the Hunt) – Member of the Erudite Guild, which worships Nus and advocates the spread of knowledge. In battle, increases the likelihood of performing bonus attacks, depending on the number of weakens the enemies have.
- Xueyi (4★, Quantum Type, Path of Destruction) – She has no body, and is now just a doll whose body was custom-made by the Ten Lords Commission. Having caught the criminal, she can return to the world of the living for half a day. Xuei’s Ultimate deals quantum damage to a targeted enemy and drains their durability, ignoring their vulnerability types. The damage it deals increases depending on its durability.
The developers have also prepared an Exotic Pet Hunt event, in which players will need to raise a variety of small creatures. In addition, there will be new game modes such as Pure Fiction, an expanded Hall of Oblivion and many more.
Update 1.6 for Honkai: Star Rail will be released on December 27, 2023.
