Door Kickers: Action Squad is an old school 2D action game with a nostalgic pixel art style. The game was developed jointly by PixelShard and KillHouse Games, and the project saw the light of day in 2018. Since then, the game has received several additions that expand the story and available mechanics. Door Kickers received several awards for best soundtrack and best indie project at various exhibitions in 2018.

The player becomes a SWAT operative in a fictional American city called Noir City. The main charm of the game, as the name suggests, is knocking down doors. Choose the best ammunition, use the help of a friend and restart the level as many times as you like, choosing the best tactics for attacking. Use the operator’s special abilities to turn him into a fiery tornado and clear an entire room of opponents. And remember: it wasn’t you who was locked up with them.
