Fantastic Fishing is an indie adventure game made in a 2D isometric style. The atmosphere of the game resembles the famous horror Subnautica in a light version.
The game takes place in an underwater base, from where the player moves out on a shuttle to explore the ocean. Its main goal is to collect a large and varied catch, in order to then exchange it for improvements for the base and bathyscaphe. The better equipped the shuttle, the deeper the player can sink to the bottom, and the more diverse and dangerous the surrounding fauna becomes. Any creature encountered in the game can be captured, but only with the right equipment and tactics.

In addition to deep-sea predators, other dangers and surprises await the player. Sunken ships, underwater mines, unusual biomes will be encountered as the bathyscaphe sinks deeper into the water.
