The Lightbringer is a cartoonish platformer from the Rock Square Thunder studio with chamber challenges, a linear storyline and a simple Mario-inspired combat system with jumps and attack combinations. The developers transferred the events to a fictional universe that is on the verge of extinction due to the corruption spilling out and stretching in all directions, sucking in space and spitting out gray clots of emptiness.

The world is falling apart and, if you do not fight against corruption, then in 3-4 days the usual human civilization will turn into incoherent fragments of its former glory… The developers present the gameplay from a non-standard perspective – in addition to jumping, you will have to carefully look for traps, fight with opponents, using consumable items and launching a kind of boomerang, and also deal with puzzles that prevent you from moving to neighboring locations or unlocking new challenges.

And, if the same battles do not become a problem even for beginners, then you will have to experiment with the puzzles around for hours – pulling levers, filling cells or pressing plates. Sometimes you have to interact with the environment for a while, which means that every mistake will be fatal…
