This is the President is a witty political satire with elements of absurdity and dystopia wrapped in global strategy and resource management gameplay. The game is a spin-off of the This is the Police series, but has no apparent plot connection and can be played as a standalone game.

2020 year. The player assumes the role of a politician with a dubious past and a slippery nature who is elected President of the United States. Now you have the power of a superpower in your hands, but you are more concerned with covering your own ass from prosecution for financial crimes committed in the past. Your main task is to ratify the 28th amendment of the Constitution, which would provide you with lifelong immunity from criminal liability.

The White House becomes your mafia cartel. Manipulate your subordinates, lie to the press, and at least cut off access to the Internet throughout the country – who will forbid you when you are in power in the country? Hire assassins and hackers, clear the consciences of your underlings with crispy bills, tweet with citizens, and solve pressing political issues in any way your dark soul desires. Participate in BDSM orgies, use everything that can be legalized – but only on the condition that the presidential term does not spill over into prison. Otherwise, your game will have a sad end.
