Story line

The Three Houses are located on the continent of Fodlan, divided between three competing peoples now in the world, connected through the Garreg Maha Monastery. Taking on the role of a former mercenary and new mentor at Garreg Mach, the player must choose a nation to support and lead them through a series of battles. The game features the turn-based tactical gameplay of earlier Fire Emblem titles, as well as elements of social simulation and time management. Three Houses has changed most of the game elements of the series, more than any other game in the past. The game itself is no longer solely focused on the constant battles on the map, but also on a school environment that ends up creating two distinct phases.

Game process

While learning, the player and his students must participate in strategic turn-based battles throughout Fodlan. At the beginning, their numbers are small, but then the characters will recruit a whole army. It depends only on you whether your characters stay alive or die in these battles. Therefore, set up a strategy so that your wards come to victory. Between story battles, the player has a set number of days marked on the calendar that can be used for various activities. The player also has activities in their free time where they can interact with students and build relationships with them. Each event during the academic sections is gaining points. The player must choose which events will take place while losing access to others. Players control a certain number of battalions led by selected heroes. The battalions move around the grid, transitioning from a top-down perspective to a third-person perspective as the battle begins. Players can also increase the boundaries of the battlefield. Battalions have passive abilities that give a positive effect to the unit’s character. Additional groups of troops – gambits – can be hired to fight for battalion reservations, performing special actions such as healing multiple units or stunning powerful enemies. Although the characters have starting abilities that define their niche, they can have other skills that will increase their class. A weapon has a certain number of uses before it degrades and its stats are reduced. Martial arts are activated in exchange for some weapon durability and are learned by becoming proficient with the type of weapon. They deal more damage than standard attacks.

Features of “Fire Emblem Three Houses”:

• There is an in-game calendar divided into twelve seasons that correspond to months that progress from day to day with the narrative. Certain events and events take place on certain calendar days;
• The ticket has a Professor Level, which is increased by gaining experience from teaching and other activities in the monastery;
• Characters learn different types of weapons through training, increasing their skills with weapons, magic, healing, and even special unit types such as riding, heavy armor, and flying;
• A new weapon type called Brawl that focuses on fist weapons. This weapon class can only be used by unspecified units;
