The developers of the cooperative action game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League announced on their discord server that they will add an offline mode after the game’s release. Previously, players reacted negatively to the fact that the game would require a constant Internet connection, even if played in single player mode.
“We are pleased to confirm that we are planning to add an offline mode, which will give players the opportunity to complete the main story campaign without an Internet connection. We plan to add this update in 2024 and will share more details when they become available.”
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be released on February 2, 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game’s plot takes place in Metropolis, where the Suicide Squad, consisting of Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark, must save the world from the crazed superheroes from the Justice League.
