Tencent has announced that the MMORPG ArcheAge servers in China will be closed in September 2024. Since the contract for the publication of the game is ending, the publisher and the developer held negotiations, during which they came to this decision. The project has been published in the country since 2015, but, judging by the official website, has enjoyed rather little popularity in recent years.
At the moment, you cannot register a new account, top up your balance, or download the game. The complete shutdown of game servers and the forum will take place on September 5, 2024 at 06:00 Moscow time. On September 13, complete deletion of all data is expected. Players can receive refunds for unused premium currency and receive gift sets in other games of the publisher.
Let us remind you that on June 27, 2024, Kakao Games closed the ArcheAge servers in Europe and North America. And in July 2023, it became known for the first time about XLGames’ reluctance to renew contracts with local publishers.
