Ubisoft’s long-suffering shooter XDefiant has finally received an exact release date

After many delays, Ubisoft has finally announced the exact release date for the multiplayer first-person shooter XDefiant. The game will be released on May 21, 2024 (20:00 Moscow time) on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Along with the release, the game will begin a pre-season that will last for 6 weeks. It will include 5 factions, 5 modes and 14 maps. In addition, players will be able to practice a trial of Ranked mode with 4v4 battles before the official launch of the first season.

Along with the announcement of the XDefiant release date, the developers also presented the game’s roadmap. So, according to it, each season will add a new faction, 3 new weapons, 3 new maps and a battle pass.

Let us remember that initially the release of XDefiant was supposed to take place in the summer of 2023, but it was postponed several times due to network problems.
