Netmarble is recruiting people to develop an MMORPG based on the Game of Thrones series

The South Korean company Netmarble is recruiting employees to develop an MMORPG based on the television series “Game of Thrones”. At the moment the game has a working title Project T (프로젝트T) and is currently under active development.

Despite 12 vacancies associated with this project, little information was found. The project is being created on Unreal Engine 5 and will be cross-platform. In addition to mentioning PC and mobile platforms, one of the vacancies noted requirements for creating a console interface and experience in developing console games.

To summarize the requirements from all the vacancies, the game will have an open three-dimensional world, a realistic active combat system, character classes, a variety of quests, peaceful activities and dungeons.

Interestingly, at an early stage they are looking for people with deep knowledge of English and familiarity with the world of the franchise. They will have to test the game and the translation, and also ensure that all names are consistent.

Game of Thrones is an American television series that aired from 2011 to 2019. The series is based on the novel series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin. The project received worldwide fame, audience attention and a lot of awards.
